VALLEJO – Hate doing your taxes but love eating tacos? Then you’re in luck.
State Assemblywoman Lori D. Wilson, D-Suisun City, will be hosting a free Taco and Taxes event on Saturday, March 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. inside the John F. Kennedy Library (Joseph Room), located at 505 Santa Clara Street in downtown Vallejo, her office announced.
IRS-certified tax preparers will be in attendance offering free tax filing services. Tacos will be provided by Tacos Jalisco.
To be eligible for the tax services, individuals must have income under $67,000, only basic tax returns (California and Federal) will be done and appointments are required.
Assemblywoman Wilson’s office is offering this service in partnership with Golden State Opportunity, Travis Credit Union Foundation and United Way Bay Area.
