VALLEJO – A portion of the Solano Bikeway located above eastbound Interstate 80, just outside the city of Vallejo, was closed due to a mudslide.
“The mudslide occurred across from the interstate from the Hunter Hill rest area, making the route impassable until fixes can be made,” Caltrans said. “The length of bikeway between Vallejo and Cordelia is now closed until further notice.”
Recent winter storms are being blamed as the cause of the mudslide.
